Custom Ed 33 description- The Katherine Ann is a remarkably clean, low hours, well: appointed and equipped tall rig Catalina 36 Mark II. - s/v "RENEGADE" is a production build (No. 5 out of 15), fiberglass hull, auxiliary powered sailing vessel of approximately fifty: two feet overall. The vessel shows performance, racer/cruiser lines and sloop/cutter rig. Hull color is white. The vessel was designed by Ron Holland and constructed in Taiwan, ROC by the Ta Chiao Brothers Yacht Building Co in 1982, and since that time has had 5 owners. The present owners had Renegade for the last 11 years.
- Steering wheel was removed and replaced by tiller : creates more space in the cockpit and handles very well. 5ft draft with 3600 lb externally bolted lead keel and high aspect sail ratio makes for a high performance for those who might race.
- Short Bus has proved to be a very competitive boat in both light and heavy air. We have had great success since re: launching in 2008. We like to say that the Bus likes to punch above its weight class as we perform very well against the 30 footers (J/29, J/30, S2 9.1, Santana 30/30). Short Bus is truly race ready. The only thing I would add would be a new Fries Sail Design 155% genoa.
