- NEEDS: repair work to the starboard ama. A bad repair that was previously made to a large section of the midship ama and bow need to be cut out and replaced properly. The main hull and port hull ore in great shape other than the area around their bow chain plates. The rudder is functional but needs to be replaced. The repairs are out of my scope of capability and I can't afford to pay to have the work done. For the right person who can fix the boat it is a very worthwhile investment.the boat is mobile. - NOVEMER 2009: ILHA GRANDE TO BUENOS AIRES.
- We purchased BG in January of 2013 and began refitting her shortly thereafter. Aside from minor/major cosmetics, in late 2013 we painted the hull, re: decked her inside and out, added new Yanmar 54 HP engines (4JH5E/SD60), Doyle sails and cradle, Cruiseair ACs(3), Outback inverter, over 800 watts of thin film solar panels, underwater lighting, and numerous smaller enhancements like Sirius radio and weather.. In October 2015 we added a Spectra Ventura 200T watermaker and converted her electric heads to fresh water flush. Engine hours as of September 2016 are 950 each, with new clutch kits on both sail drives.She might best be described as a 2014 boat with a 2006 hull. She is cruise ready and better than new.
