- I have a 1996 Laser Two For Sale, here is a breakdown of the boat: Second Owner, it is a white hull and deck with purple strip, it has two sets of sail in good condition, the foils have always been in a blade bag (very good), perfect spinnaker, brand new mast just installed (old stock), perfect hull and deck (only one little scratch on starboard side), perfect Calkins Trailer with new wheels and tires, lights, repacked axles. - Perkins diesel model 4: 236 model with a HURTH transmission which is in turn connected through a PSS dripless shaft seal to a 1 3/4” SS shaft with a 22” x 16.5” 3 bladed bronze propellor. There is a Perkins ignition panel with tachometer, DC volts, oil pressure and water temperature gauges. The panel is also provided with an audible alarm for low oil pressure and high water temperature. Access to the machinery space is good providing adequate room for routine maintenance. The machinery space is clean and dry.
