  • I re: designed the rig as a balanced lug on wooden spars with an aluminum mast. The sail was professionally made by Andy Soper of Kingston, Ontario, and has two sets of reefing points set up with jiffy reefing. She has a nice downhaul system specially designed to facilitate tensioning the rig and making adjustments from the helmsman's position while underway. Her centerboard is galvanized steel (weighs about 100 LBS), and is easily lifted with an attractive custom winch mounted on the case. Removable wooden outboard bracket which is mounted on the port quarter.

  • UPDATE: Hull number is 1688. Boat comes with original 1688 main and jib, and 4278 sail set. Spinnaker also included. Nice Flying Scot. Repainted with epoxy and anti fouling on bottom. Includes Trailer.
