• Description: Own a piece of sailboat history! This extremely rare sailboat has a long and interesting past. Produced at the Beetle Boat Company in 1951 it is thought to be the first sailboat made of fiberglass. Fully restored and sailed last season this sailboat is in perfect working order and needs no repairs. Upgraded hardware, paint, ropes, 2007 Yamaha 4 stroke engine, and fully restored trailer this boat is ready to go! This same boat model has sold for over 10,000 in the past. With its classic Beetle boat style and size it can handle very rough conditions and is very easy to sail. This boat has been in my family since 1976 and last season the third generation was able to experience the fun. The reality is I want this boat to be used more and find a new home that will appreciate its history.

• Hull: 44' 13m loa 12'6" beam semi finn keel for low drag and underwater hard chine for shoulder stability under sail. Relatively flat hull plates extend from near the bow almost to the transom providing racing sled like performance off the wind... Joe Adams also designed this cruising hull with a high bow and a lot of beautiful sheer. Harrier can be driven hard into a head sea while remaining dry and sea kindly... Steering is provided by a skeg hung rudder and rack and pinion stainless wheel... Large rudder is hung directly behind large 3blade prop for superior handling and backing..
