- Description: Take advantage of the fact that my financial situation forces me to dramatically lower the price. On top of it the winter storage is paid. This is one of the finest boats designed by J. It is a performance cruiser. It will move in the lightest of winds and stand up, with the proper reefing, to the heaviest of winds. It was modeled after the J40. It sleeps 5 with a private forward cabin, hanging locker, bulkhead mounted table, head w/shower aft to starboard, L-shaped galley to port, teak cabin sole, Varnished teak interior finish, S/S sink, top-loading ice boax, Origo 2 burner alcohol stove w/oven and hot and cold pressure water. It has a Non-Skid Deck, light & Ventilation provided by 3 deck hatches and 6 opening ports along with screens. The boat has double life lines, a starboard boarding gate and a stern mounted ladder and gate. It is both pretty to look at and sails beautifully. We had it out last week in 12 knt winds and moved along at over 6 knts. I have fixed the boat to make it very easy to single hand. It has a furling, self tacking jib in addtion to a genny. It has a mack pack so the sail can be dropped quickly and zippered up into it's own cover. The Hull is Dark Blue. The engine starts up every time without a problem. The boat has been winterized every year by professionals. We have owned quite a few boats over the years and this is our favorite. The only reason we are selling is that we purchased a house on a canal which does not have the five foot draw that the boat requires. I know that whoever buys the boat will love it as much as we do.
