• Description: Sunnyside successfully sailed from Baltimore to the Acores, then to Portugal, and then up to Barcelona. Since June 2013, Sunnyside sailed to Morocco and to the Baleares (Ibiza, Mallorca and Minorca).
• Equipment: In January 2016, Sunnyside has been taken out of the water for three months. The antifouling was stripped from the underwater sections down to the fiberglass. The laminate was left to dry until relative moisture readings were below 10 across the entire underwater sections. Once dry, an epoxy moisture barrier and antifouling was applied closely following the instructions of the paint manufacturer. Paint coatings from the ballast keel was sandblasted and four coats of epoxy primer prior and antifouling were applied. Below waterline, hull is in very good condition with no blistering, damage or repair.
