• Description: Classic 1987 Vagabond 47 built by Bluewater Yachts in Taiwan. A William Garden design, she has wonderful lines with a clipper bow and a very dry center cockpit. The Vagabond is a proven world class vessel built for world cruising. She is ketch rig equipped with roller furling Genoa, club footed staysail, main and mizzen. She has an electric winch with chain rode, two CQR anchors, four main hatches and numerous stainless steel ports. All of the Barient winches are two speed. The cockpit is protected with the Wavestopper hard dodger with a full enclosure and roll-up curtains. The aft deck is equipped with a full lazzerette locker. The owner has been fastidious with maintenance, care of equipment and recent up-grades. The interior wood finishes and soft goods reflect his attention to detail and care. The vessel was built with tall head room throughout.

• 2. Hull, decks, keel, shoe, rudder: 1/8, 3/16, 3/8, and 1/2 steel plates. 3/4 solid round steel bars at plate meetings. 2.5 inch OSD 2 inch ISD, 1/4” wall, shaft log. 3x.25 ribs. 1.5x3/16 longitudinal.
• 21. Fuel tanks: Two USCG poly 58 gallons each with gauges. Two USCG poly 18 gallons each. Total 152G fuel.
• 4. House: Angle 2x2x1/4 steel house frames, 3/4 marine ply, with cedar, and West System epoxy glass cover. House is in perfect condition.
• 22. Water tanks: Four USCG poly 12 gallons each. Total 48G water.
• 8. Engine: Perkins M50 49HP with 244 hours since new. 12VDC 60AMP Alternator, isolated ground system.
• 23. Waste tank: USCG 9 gallon poly holding tank with Skipper Type8 marine head.
• 29. Winch: Self: tailing two speed Lewmar Model 40 winch in main cabin. One line raises sail, one adjust front of sail, and one to adjust outward end of sail. When sail comes down it folds and stores itself. Unbelievably easy to sail this vessel! Reefing for storm is a simple matter of lowering sail height, from inside cabin, until operator is comfortable with setting.
