Cal 22 equipment

  • Extensively re-fit within the last several years, the U: shaped galley is aft and to starboard with a lots of counter space, sink, a 12 cubic foot top loading refrigerator, a two burner LPG stove with oven fueled by a 10 lb aluminum propane tank, with hot and cold pressurized water. There is an abundance of storage with cabinets over and under and a large pantry opposite the galley. Two 70 gallon water tanks are filled on deck. The eleven gallon hot water tank is heated via engine or shore power. The remote external cold water/shower hose connection is located aft.

  • Very well maintained. The perfect day: sailor. This boat is fun, fast, and safe. It can be handled very easily. It is even unsinkable.

  • : pressurized Alcohol stove similar to big sterno cans that are much safer to use. Teak and Holly flooring, very deep bilge, dual batteries with light up battery gauge to check each individual battery, 150 genoa, 125 genoa, gennaker with sail tape repair can only be used in very light air (sail it like a genoa with no spinnaker pole). Good headroom (around 6' 1") all the way to the vberth, table in cabin folds in half and swivels up out of the way and has book storage on wall behind it for charts or magazines, bug screens for all hatches including companionway for a great nights sleep, 5 foot draft, huge 39 pound anchor with chain, cockpit cooler with drain, teak cup holder (holds 4) at wheel in cockpit, wine rack with led lighting and wine glass holder, led lights in engine compartment, sound proofing material added in engine compartment, access to engine from cabin or from huge opening in cockpit, separate head with holding tank, mast lighting that lights up bow, light and heavy headsail sheets, bimini and dodger connect together, stereo with separate amp,Nice cushions, lots of storage, nice wide deck, two hatches (one in vberth, one in saloon), vhf radio, light blue curtains, Huge fresh water storage (75 gallons), super huge diesel tank allowed us to motor from old hickory lake to KY lake with no fill ups and still had plenty (about 45 gallon tank),the Yanmar diesel sips fuel and uses around half gallon per hour, Just replaced impeller and belts.Family not so interested in sailing,downsizing.
