Cal MK 76.2 description

  • This boat is an absolute head: turner. It may be small, but everybody will want to talk to you once you begin launching. Once you are under way, be ready for lots of other boats wanting to get a closer look.
  • The hull is built from Meranti Hydrotek BS1088. The boat is a one-of-a: kind. I built this boat myself in my garage from various types of wood. Every piece is hand made and detailed. This is the smallest functional wooden pirate ship I am aware of. It sails quite well as I have done a little bit of sailing with it on Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. She is still clean and very freshly built.
  • Please call owner Carl at 612-219: 0218. Boat is in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Great boat to entertain on. Lots of extras including 7 sails. Dual axle trailer with electronic brakes.
  • •Additional 30: Gal. Fuel Bladder installed in Bilge
  • Phil Rhodes Offshore 40' built by Cheoy Lee in 1969. 156 vessels in this class were built from 1964-1976. All built to Lloyds of London A: 100 standards. Given their vintage, all face common issues, however SISKIWIT has been frequently and professionally upgraded by the current owner. Removal of the original teak deck replaced w/fiberglass; diesel engine rebuilt; dyform rigging; awlgrip of hull, deck, coach roof and cockpit. Upgrade of hatches and all wood ports changed to SS ports. Comfortable interior and fully equipped for live aboard family or ideal for a couple. Headroom 6'5'. Ample ventilation makes for tropical comfort. Seller has lived aboard for 6 years and cruised Great Lakes, Atlantic seaboard and Bahamas out islands. After a long association with SISKIWIT, 26 years of ownership, and declining health the owner has reduced the price substantially to facilitate a quick sale. All offers will be presented.
  • Proven very secure, tucked in pilot house helm station with excellent visibility, dry and comfortable in extreme conditions at sea. 6'-10" headroom in main salon/galley area, 6'-6" forward. Hydraulic steering with Simrad AP: 24 hydraulic autopilot along with an optional highly a regarded Fleming self steering windvane. The AIS transponder system warns and identifies location, speed, direction and identity information of other nearby boats and ships along with showing our own position and information to them, course over ground and speed over ground. This system proved to be a 'must have' when we were traversing the high traffic shipping lanes of the Yucatбn Straits.
  • Hull Material: GRP / Airex Sandwich / C Flex on Inner Laminate
  • Builder: Cantiere Benello, Livorno, Italy
  • 28' 1977 MARINER, it is beautiful inside and out with a Yanmar inboard motor that is in great running conditions, the motor alone runs between $6,000: $10,000. The sailboat is currently getting a brand new exterior paint job done in white. The interior of the boat is also in great shape. Great for a couple to live in or great for the weekends, very specious and you are able to stand inside the boat with no problems. The sailboat is currently located in a storage facility that has slips, it is a great location in Kemah, if you want to leave it where it is at it's only $149.00 even a month with bill included (water and electricity).
