  • Description: Inventory Clearance Sale Underway! The J-24 has a non-skid deck for better traction, less wood for easier maintenance (J-24 sailors prefer to sail), moulded V-berth air tank for greater safety, precise keel placement, the latest deck layout for optimum sailing efficiency, and a one-piece hull mould, and faired blades, to reduce race preparation time. J-24 stands the test of time. A well-prepared 1977 model, built to the same shape and weight with rigid, Baltek-cored construction, can still win the worlds, even after 30,000 miles of trailering. J-24 is for everyone, age 12 to 80, no matter what their style: racing, daysailing, or cruising.

  • The 27 has a swept: back fin keel typical of many 1970s designs. The configuration makes for less than perfect windward performance, but offers good reaching in return. A strong and elaborate winter storage cradle is required, as the keel cannot support the hull weight. With a spade rudder fixed at the aft end of the waterline, the 27's light helm responds quickly.
