• Description: Moonshine is solid, spacious (6' 4" headroom) and comfortable with lots of storage. Systems have been kept simple for easy maintenance. The large lazarettes allow easy access to the engine. The Universal Diesel burns almost no oil and the large heat exchanger was professionally cleaned last year. The boat has many recent upgrades, (refrigeration, standing/running rigging, electric panel, etc) and full maintenance records are available. A complete inventory of spares is available upon request. Roll-up inflatable dinghy and engine are included.

• I re: designed the rig as a balanced lug on wooden spars with an aluminum mast. The sail was professionally made by Andy Soper of Kingston, Ontario, and has two sets of reefing points set up with jiffy reefing. She has a nice downhaul system specially designed to facilitate tensioning the rig and making adjustments from the helmsman's position while underway. Her centerboard is galvanized steel (weighs about 100 LBS), and is easily lifted with an attractive custom winch mounted on the case. Removable wooden outboard bracket which is mounted on the port quarter.

• Re-powered with Kabota Universal M25: XP diesel in in 1987. On land for full inspection. Bottom redone with 12 coats 3 years ago. Need a small tear in Jib sail repair and new Jib lines and a halyard. Also need mast lights rewired. Comes with 6 self inflating life jackets, new handheld VHF 160. Oven removed. New switch panel. Great first boat very forgiving.
