- The “Grande Dame” is a 34’ : 1950, Henry Hinckley Co., Classic – a Yachtsman’s sloop in striking condition. Cedar on oak construction with varnished mahogany cockpit and cabin trunk, teak deck and cockpit sole, Sitka spruce mast, main and club jib booms, cast iron keel ballast and a 30hp Universal Atomic Four engine.

- UPDATE: See new exterior photos. Add to the above description that this boat is also a hurricane survivor. Yep we were visited in Charleston by Matthew but this boat came through without a hitch even though tied up on an outer slip. In one photo you can see the damage incurred by the next boat. But the Tartan showed no stress.
- Excellent sailboat and lots of fun - fast. Fresh water. Lots of recent work performed : NC17 bottom, new electrical/lights, raced all year in Buffalo harbor. Great and well running outboard. Interior still needs some work if desired. Some good and some fair sails. Possible slip in Erie basin as well. More pictures to follow.
