- Description: 1981 Catalina 30 standard rig, fin keel. Great sailing boat. 5411 diesel starts and runs great - overhauled in 2006 ( by prior owner). 155 Genoa on Harken furler, Asymmetrical spinnaker both in good shape, newer main sail in good shape (2009). Boom overhauled in 2011, masthead overhauled in 2008, mast-step rebedded 2011. Deck hardware rebedded 2009-2010. New running lights and deck lights 2011. Wheel steering removed, refurbished, rebedded 2011. Thru-hulls upgraded to marelon with backer plates 2011. Windows removed, cleaned, resealed and rebedded 2009. Battery bank and charging leads upgraded 2011 (200 amp-hour house, 100 amp-hour motor with isolator). Lines replaced as needed - many less than 5 years old. Pressure hot and cold water. Origo alcohol stove. Magma propane BBQ on stern rail. Double sink. New countertops 2009. new table 2009. Most interior teak removed, refinished, and re-installed. Sailed infrequently. Catalina 30 description- It was looked after very well and it was re: varnished just recently. It is kept in Jericho Sailing Association compound in Vancouver. It comes with a new mast made by Forte, new sails made by Quantum and new spinnaker made by North Sails. It also comes with spare spinnaker and jib. All ropes have been replaced this season. Beach dolly, road trailer and the top and bottom covers are included.
- Swift Solo Skiff has a unique rigging where both sails : main and jib are controlled by one sheet, which means that the jib is self tacking and self adjusting.
