Catalina 400 description

  • 1975 C Scow. The hot rod of sailing. This 2: 4 person boat is perfect for sailing in light winds and up to about 12 knots max. It's super responsive which really helps when learning how to sail. It's got plenty of wear and tear from the years but it is fully functional and still looks great when sailing. I sail it about 3 times a month. Everyone sailing around me is jealous of how fast I blow past them. The trailer is old and a bit rusty but fully functional with new wench installed. I keep it fully rigged on the trailer, so setup is about 20 minutes. The parking lot I keep it at in lake Lavon is only $55 a month and that spot will be available if you purchase this boat, but not required. I bought this boat for my boys and I to learn how to sail. We've been sailing it for six months now and we love it but we are ready to move up to a cruising boat. This is not a boat a single person would want to sail, you really need 2 minimum. If you are new to sailing, I'll be glad to take you out on the boat and show you how to sail it. Clean title in hand. Cash only.
