Catalina 42 description- The “Grande Dame” is a 34’ : 1950, Henry Hinckley Co., Classic – a Yachtsman’s sloop in striking condition. Cedar on oak construction with varnished mahogany cockpit and cabin trunk, teak deck and cockpit sole, Sitka spruce mast, main and club jib booms, cast iron keel ballast and a 30hp Universal Atomic Four engine.
- CSV LeaderShip is a registered 1986 Canadian Sailcraft CS40 Hull no2. She is 40 feet in length of 12.79 tons with a draft of 5’ 7”. She was designed by Tony Castro for high-seas racing/cruising and custom: built for two board of directors’ members of the Canadian Sailcraft Company. She sails wonderfully under any kind of weather.All the key systems have been maintained, updated and/or replaced in the past 4 years and she has no deck rot. We are her third owner and she has been used for cruising the Georgian Bay since 2008. She has never seen salt water and has never been in an accident. No expense has been spared to keep her seaworthy and comfortable since 1996 as both Andre, her former owner, and I had the means and interest to keep her up.
