- “Forest Dream” may well have been one of the very first and much sought: after quarter berth models, CS Canadian Sailcraft is renowned for building a seaworthy sailboat that is a comfortable cruising Boat, easy to sail, yet can hold its own in a race.
- Reason for Sale: I need a bigger boat. I live aboard this one, but I need more space as I'm going to circumnavigate as soon as possible.
- Very nice sloop rigged PSC: 31. Green on white. Lightly used by current owner. Furling head sail, lazy jacks on full battened main sail. New cockpit canvas in 2012 with covers over isenglass. AC/Heat in 2014. Barrier coat in 2010, 4 coats / no blisters. New VHF with remote hand held at helm.

- “Melrose” is the Plan B model, with a comfortable headroom of 6'4". The main salon has a U: shaped settee with beautiful teak table and a bench settee opposite. The galley is to port with a double SS Sink and an insulated top load icebox with 12 volt Grunert unit. The navigation station is across with ample storage and comfort. There is a large quarter berth starboard. The interior boasts beautiful Costa Rican teak and the sole is teak and holly. Forward is the master stateroom with overhead hatch and bronze opening ports, and plenty of storage in shelves and cabinets also under the berth. There is a separate shower stall in the enclosed head to starboard.
Catalina 42 equipment- This well kept, shoal draft, freshwater boat has had many upgrades in the past, including a new Volvo Penta 3: cylinder diesel engine in 2003, Noise Reduction Insulation around Engine cover, new in 2014, New Impeller Cover for easy access to water impeller for cooling the engine, by Speed Seal – Life, a new marine head in 2000, a new dodger in 2004, the rest of the enclosure around the cockpit in 2009 and 2 new batteries 1 in 2013 and 1 in 2014.
- There is a cedar: lined hanging locker to port, the door of which seals off the forward cabin, The locker is fitted with a shelf and hanging bar.
