- Description: am selling my 1989 Catalina Capri I bought a year ago. I bought when I took sailing lessons to learn and improve my sailing. I am going bigger to a 34 cruiser now. I love this boat. I had it hauled out last year for bottom. I replaced the tiller and the wood around the companion way. It is in fine condition. It has new standing rigging too. Including light on mast and new wiring for that. The interior is clean. No cracks or damage. Sails great! I bought a magic tilt trailer for this boat that comes with it. Double axle. I bought a new Nissan 6hp 4 stroke motor with separate fuel tank last year. Starts on one pull! Promise! Sails in good shape too. I paid much more than the $6,000.00 I am asking. It is docked now at julington creek marina for $165 per month. But with the included trailer you can save storage $$. I bought a mast stepper system from Catalina direct and made a quality gin pole for lowering and raising the mast. Can be done with 2 people is 10 minutes. I hope you like this boat as much as I have!!
