  • Description: This Hunter 23.5 is a great sailboat for the novice as well as the experienced. Easily sailed single handed. Well maintained day sailor with overnight accommodations. Uses a water ballast system allowing her to float in 18 inches of water. The water ballast also sheds 1,000 lbs of weight for quick and easy towing (Trailer and boat weigh 3,000lbs combined). The mast raising system makes launching and retrieval easy singlehanded or for a couple. The mast raising system helps make the transition from the highway to the waterway in about 30 minutes. Very large cockpit for 6. Sleeps 5 in two double berths and one single settee. A hatch opens above the vee berth. A Porta Potty is located forward. She has a tinted plexiglass hatch cover adding light below when closed, that slides into her companionway cover for added cabin headroom. The interior fiberglass liner is easy to clean and maintain with interior vinyl covered foam cushions that are also easy to clean. She is a tremendous boat for the money. Can provide more photos if needed. $8500 OBO
