Catalina MKII 30 description- The term Watson: class lifeboat refers to several wooden lifeboat classes operated by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) around the coasts of the United Kingdom and Ireland between 1888 and 1991. The boats had hulls that conformed to the basic design laid down by RNLI naval architect George Lennox Watson.

- Beautiful spacious comfortable and extremely reliable 1977 Catalina 30 yacht. Completely upgraded. Re: upholstered custom interior with curtains, built in stereo with ipod input, dimming lights in cabin. Wrap around L seated dining area. Enormous open cabin has stand up headroom and is very comfortable even with large groups. This would be a nice live aboard yacht, sleeps 5 comfortably. Cockpit cushions, dual self tailoring winches. Maintenance free no drip shaft seal. Economical and dependable professional re manufactured Atomic 4 engine, electronic ignition, anti freeze cooled no contact with salt water, new alternator. - Main sheet winch, traveler, and jib sheet winches are all within easy reach of the helm. All non: skid (no teak) decks, double bow and stern railings, and double lifelines provide secure passage around the decks. Seven hatches with custom Outland ridged covers, four dorade vents and eleven opening ports (Newfound Metals Stainless steel just installed 2015) provide ample light and ventilation below.
Catalina MKII 30 equipment- Trailer: 1988 double-axel Shoreline trailer with surge brakes and builder: customized bunks. Galvanized frame and fenders with only light surface rust. New (2013) axel, hubs, bearings with protectors, brake assemblies, wheels and tires with approximately 1500 miles since replacement. Working lights. PVC and wood crutch supports for mast transport and raising; PVC supports for main boom and mizzen mast transport. One spare tires. The trailer has carried the boat from Wisconsin to Texas and around the Great Lakes.
