CC 24FT description

  • Genoa: Incidens 34 sqm
  • 1985 J27 Hull #34. Well cared for, dry hull and deck. Deck redone with Sikkens non: skid in 2015. Faired hull, keel and rudder. VC Offshore antifouling painted finished to 1500 grit over Interprotect barrier coat. Currency owned by a sail maker and a retiree who enjoys boat maintenance. Comes with lots of new sails, dyneema halyards, backstay, life lines ect. 5hp Mercury 2 stroke with high thrust propeller (only weighs 42 pounds).
  • Interior: V: berth (7') forward followed by head and shower to port and hanging locker to starboard. Main salon has 6' settees P&S and drop down table that is secured against the main bulkhead when stowed. Aft is galley with stove/oven, SS sink, icebox to starboard and double quarter berth and navigation station to port. sleep aboard room for 6 with 6' headroom throughout. New cushions and covers 2012. Cockpit has 6' seating P&S, aft helm seat and a large locker to port. Pressure fresh water (2 x 24 gal) to galley, head & cockpit shower.
  • The 9.2 was designed by Arthur Edmunds, who was S2’s "in-house" designer. Beginning in 1981, S2 built a number of racing: oriented cruisers designed by the Chicago naval architects Scott Graham and Eric Schageter, but all of the earlier cruising boats were done by Edmunds. Edmunds also contributed engineering and design detail to Graham & Schlageter’s hull designs.
