c&c Encounter 79.2 description- Taking offers. This C&C is a well kept, fully functioning vessel normally used by family on Buzzards Bay. But we have opted not to commission this year due to time constraints. It is currently winterized/shrink: wrapped. I have owned the boat for 18 years but she sat idle for twelve years as we awaited a mooring. 2014 was the third season since putting her afloat again and the accompanying photos here taken 2014. This boat was made in Middleton, RI. It is USCG documented. It is a comfortable, solid sailing small family boat with an attractive modern teak interior. It's condition is exceptionally good for the year (8/10). But she is not without minor flaws. The working jib/blade/spinnaker sails have not been used during my ownership and are in very good condition as are all the sails. We are more so fair weather sailors and she gets used modestly. More pictures/video available upon inquiry.

These features were all incorporated into the MK II version but they usually cost 20 to 40 thousand more.

- I purchased this PY26 Sloop in 2008 from the family that bought it new and kept it looking and feeling new as well. The name combined the wife/mother-son: daughter’s names Marabe. To be honest I didn’t have the heart to change the name and as the boat was hauled from their home all of the family stood and watched – it had been their loved summer place all during their “growing up” years and accommodated grandchildren too. I am retiring and sadly offering this wonderful sloop for sale.
