• With main and hank on jib she's ready to sail in about 10 minutes: and does so beautifully. A Carl Alberg design small enough that never utilized the three winches aboard, and can be sailed single handed. The rudder is large enough to scull with ease, if you're into that. There's an electric engine (minn kota) and deep cell battery that pushes her amazingly (accomplished pushing a 25' from the point)

• 1975 Chrysler 22 sailboat designed by Halsey Herreshoff. This is the more popular swing keel version allowing it to be towed. This version also has the pop: top allowing you to stand straight up in the cabin. Keel winch crank works well, new rudder head and bearings have been purchased and are ready for install, new rudder shaft has been installed, and half of the cabin cushions reupholstered with more fabric ready to finish. Boat sits on an included double axel trailer and includes a main, jib, and racing genoa sails. Boat is being sold AS IS and will make a great project for someone wanting a solid blue water cruiser.
• 1985 J27 Hull #34. Well cared for, dry hull and deck. Deck redone with Sikkens non: skid in 2015. Faired hull, keel and rudder. VC Offshore antifouling painted finished to 1500 grit over Interprotect barrier coat. Currency owned by a sail maker and a retiree who enjoys boat maintenance. Comes with lots of new sails, dyneema halyards, backstay, life lines ect. 5hp Mercury 2 stroke with high thrust propeller (only weighs 42 pounds).
• Reason for selling: When I was younger my dad started a sailing club for kids aged 9: 15. It proved to be a highlight in my adolescent years. This boat was donated to the club which sold it to me. The idea was for me to be a skipper in the club using this boat for teaching kids about sailing. The problem is that as a full time teacher and professional musician I have not been able to dedicate the time needed to get it sailing. I'm sad to see it go. I like the layout and stability.
