CS 27 description- Boom: (Mast to Tip) 18' 2"
- Structural refit activities included complete repair of age-typical stress cracking at keel: hull joint, and barrier coating with Interprotect 2000E. Side decks have undergone core replacement, and are very solid with professionally applied textured gel coat. Since that repair nearly all deck penetrations have had their core sections potted, and hardware bedded in butyl.
- Rigging refit included new side-stays and back: stay, new lifelines, new Boomkicker, and nearly all running rigging. She has a new main sail cover, and a new Quantum racing Dacron main.
- Ravat is a must: see CS27 including significant refitting and modernization. She sails well in every condition I’ve had her in.
- Deck : redone with kiwigrip
- Catalina built over 1800 34's. This 1990 model has the best mix of options for your dollar : the larger four cylinder ( 30 hp ) diesel inboard; the keel stepped mast; and the walk thru transom with the swim platform. These features were all incorporated into the MK II version but they usually cost 20 to 40 thousand more.

- UPGRADES: New bottom paint, royal blue top sides paint, new upholstery un white vinyl, new floors, new countertops. Recently converted to mid: boom sheeting witch added a lot of room to the cockpit and installed a new Garhauer traveler, blocks, triple rope clutch, deck organizer and deck hardware 2.5 yr ago. Sheets and halyards are now ran to cockpit for easy 1 man handeling. New cabin entrance door in 3/4 inch plexiglass.

- The crew was able to release stays and lines and jettison the mast and sails, which were lost. Among the damage: Starboard side bulkhead is displaced, Starboard side hull frame is broken in two and displaced from hull, two inside hull strakes pulled inward and debonded/torn from hull...please inspect carefully for further damage.
