• Ballast: 6000 lbs, lead keel
• Construction: Solid hull, balsa core deck
• Power: Sail, 3 cyl Yanmar diesel
• I re: designed the rig as a balanced lug on wooden spars with an aluminum mast. The sail was professionally made by Andy Soper of Kingston, Ontario, and has two sets of reefing points set up with jiffy reefing. She has a nice downhaul system specially designed to facilitate tensioning the rig and making adjustments from the helmsman's position while underway. Her centerboard is galvanized steel (weighs about 100 LBS), and is easily lifted with an attractive custom winch mounted on the case. Removable wooden outboard bracket which is mounted on the port quarter.
• While on the move, she is equipped with a Selden in: mast furling, fully battened, main sail and with a furling Genoa all operated from the safety of the rear cockpit making changes in sail area in worsening weather a drama free event. The Genoa has just returned from Elvstrom Sails after a tack & head and UV overhaul. She is equipped with the usual navigation equipment, autopilot and radar, all Raymarine and with a Vesper Marine AIS transponder for safe day or night Channel passages. She has a fully maintained, recently overhauled, powerful 78hp turbo charged Volvo Pentar that starts first time, every time. She has the added benefit of a fully maintained SidePower Bowthruster with upgraded propellers for stress free marina manoeuvres.
