Dufour 31 description- 1982 Dufour 31 sloop, model 3800 volvo MD: 7b diesel, roller furling jib/genoa, Garmin 498 GPS navigation with Maine charts, three headsails, two mains, all sails are older but in good working condition; engine runs well, starts easily, but I have no estimate of hours. Galley has pumped fresh water from water tank, bath also a pumped fresh water, head has overboard option and a holding tank, sleeps potentially 7, but comfortably four. This sailboat spends summers in the water in Penobscot Bay; Eggemoggin Reach and winters inside a boat barn.
- Endeavour Yacht is a Florida-based builder of high: end cruising sailboats. She offers a large center cockpit with nice dodger. The aft queen master cabin is also very spacious with a private head, salon offers 6’4″ of headroom. This Yacht is beautifully maintained and must be seen to be appreciated.
- Main sheet winch, traveler, and jib sheet winches are all within easy reach of the helm. All non: skid (no teak) decks, double bow and stern railings, and double lifelines provide secure passage around the decks. Seven hatches with custom Outland ridged covers, four dorade vents and eleven opening ports (Newfound Metals Stainless steel just installed 2015) provide ample light and ventilation below.
- CSV LeaderShip is a registered 1986 Canadian Sailcraft CS40 Hull no2. She is 40 feet in length of 12.79 tons with a draft of 5’ 7”. She was designed by Tony Castro for high-seas racing/cruising and custom: built for two board of directors’ members of the Canadian Sailcraft Company. She sails wonderfully under any kind of weather. All the key systems have been maintained, updated and/or replaced in the past 4 years and she has no deck rot. We are her third owner and she has been used for cruising the Georgian Bay since 2008. She has never seen salt water and has never been in an accident. No expense has been spared to keep her seaworthy and comfortable since 1996 as both Andre, her former owner, and I had the means and interest to keep her up.
- CONDITION: This boat was completely rehabbed in 1998 and is overall in good condition: wooden spars and cabin interior still in excellent condition. Nevertheless, cabin top and deck brightwork need attention. Last sailed in 2013. With some TLC this classic promises many years of great sailing for her new owner!
- J : 22 #789 fast (ex Doyle boat out of BUF) boat.
