- Description: Our boat has sailed throughout the Mediterranean and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean to the U.S. All of the exterior and interior equpiment is in perfect condition.
- Equipment: Ђ20,000 has been spent on equipment updates and general maintenance. For example, the main sail is directly attached to the mast like modern boats. Also, all the winches are self-tailing winches, there are rods with which to hang a smaller boat, electric fishing rods are included, and it has a modern toilet system. Aditionally, there are many replacement parts included for the equipment and interior components.

- We leave the boat in for two : three years at a time. With the Red under the dark blue I can tell when we are getting close to needing a haul out for bottom paint.

- Anchors: 35lb and 15lb Danforths with about 200 ft of rode
- Ray Marine chart plotter, AIS, Furuno radar, Morse: Teleflex auto pilot, Balmar alternator regulated, solar, Airmarine, Bruce 40lb, Admiralty 75lb, all chain to Lofran windless, Aquamarine 15GPH watermaker, spares, lines, fenders, all the gear from a 11 year circumnavigation...courtesy flags too!

- Reason for selling: When I was younger my dad started a sailing club for kids aged 9: 15. It proved to be a highlight in my adolescent years. This boat was donated to the club which sold it to me. The idea was for me to be a skipper in the club using this boat for teaching kids about sailing. The problem is that as a full time teacher and professional musician I have not been able to dedicate the time needed to get it sailing. I'm sad to see it go. I like the layout and stability. But...with my oldest daughter having just turned 9 and the club season upon me I need to find something that is ready for the water this spring/summer. Feel free to call or text with questions.
- The “Grande Dame” is a 34’ : 1950, Henry Hinckley Co., Classic – a Yachtsman’s sloop in striking condition. Cedar on oak construction with varnished mahogany cockpit and cabin trunk, teak deck and cockpit sole, Sitka spruce mast, main and club jib booms, cast iron keel ballast and a 30hp Universal Atomic Four engine.
- 1975 Chrysler 22 sailboat designed by Halsey Herreshoff. This is the more popular swing keel version allowing it to be towed. This version also has the pop: top allowing you to stand straight up in the cabin. Keel winch crank works well, new rudder head and bearings have been purchased and are ready for install, new rudder shaft has been installed, and half of the cabin cushions reupholstered with more fabric ready to finish. Boat sits on an included double axel trailer and includes a main, jib, and racing genoa sails. Boat is being sold AS IS and will make a great project for someone wanting a solid blue water cruiser.
