• Description: If you like big, heavy cruising boats like the Valiant 42, Passport 40, Caliber LRC 40, etc, you’ll probably like Carisma. She is a Nautical Developments Corporation, Stevens 56, built in 1979. She is a center cockpit, ketch rig, 56’ overall, 15’8” beam, 5’8” draft, and 64’8” bridge clearance. She’s big, with high free-board and carries it well. The bow is about 8’ above the water. Carisma has three staterooms (king bed in the master), two heads, a huge main salon, galley, and walk-in engine room. She carries 400 gallons of fuel and 300 gallons of water. Comes with all amenities including separate refrigerator and freezer, solar power, a generator, air conditioning, water maker, washer/dryer, and extensive electronics. She has received a major refit and is almost like-new condition. The refit included new fuel and water tanks, complete re-wiring of both the 12 volt and 110 volt systems, a new main salon with modern furniture, and much more! She is now properly outfitted for world cruising.
