• Description: You dont very often come across a vessel with all of the characteristics of the Saga 48. This boat can have the performance of a casual racer while maintaining the comfort of a laid back cruiser. I have gotten to know the owner and he has shared with me that 200 mile days are normal without spilling your cocktail all with out leaving the cockpit. Her underbody is sleek and graceful. The cockpit is well protected with dual wheels for ease of handling. The cockpit lazarette is large enough for a small social gathering! The brand new canvas work compliments the boats lines and provides excellent protection from the elements. Below she feels like a much larger yacht. The galley has state of the art equipment with fridge and freezer, microwave, propane stove and plenty of work space. The port berth is larger than most master staterooms. The salon gives you the perfect place to wind down from a good day of exploring some remote locale. The navstation is more like a command center where all of the boats systems and navigation instruments are front and center. Forward is the master stateroom with room for all of the belongings you would need for years of comfortable cruising. Finally there is a dual access full head with seperate shower. This boat is one of the most capable cruising boats that I have come across in my 30 years of sailing.
