- Here’s the list of boats less than appealing traits: It has beach rash, there was a spot of damage to the hull that was repaired before I bought it, the ropes are old, the plexiglass windows are cracked, the tiller needs to be revarnished (probably already revarnished by the time you read this), the cabin door planks work but should be replaced, the mast light’s plug is missing, the wind vein’s tail needs to be glued back on, no lid for the ice box and the cleat on the boom for the rope that keeps the main sail taught is broken.
- This boat is ready to go sailing as: is but you’d probably want to at least get a new cleat for the boom (you can just tie the rope off but I hope you’d want to show your new boat some love).

- Very elegant and dynamic coach: roof, discrete and exceptionally flat, enhances the design and adds to the freedom of movement about the boat.
- Optional Retractable Bow: thruster for ease of maneuvering, without compromising sailing performance.

- Cape Dory 30. Refitted in 2012: New Yanmar, new feathering prop, new awlgrip paint, new electronics, new toilet, new cabin sole, new bilge pump, new custom memory foam mattress, new custom port hole screens/and hatch screens, new Bomar hatches as well, new wiring, new binnacle table, new anchor, new running rigging/main sheet lines, new Autohelm 4000. The list of upgrades goes on. It is a one owner boat, which has been customized and continually upgraded. I have put $60,000 last 3 years. This boat is a great cruiser and a safe family boat, TURN KEY AND RELIABLE.
- Hulls are constructed of a solid fiberglass laminate and are most often trouble: free, with the possible exception of some osmotic blistering below the waterline. Blistering is usually not severe and I have yet to see a case that I felt seriously compromised the safety of the boat.
