• Description: Cutter-rigged, masthead sloop. Rates 27.5 under the IOR rule. She is exceptionally fast and marvelously comfortable. She qualifies as a One-Ton racing yacht and therefore eligible for both level racing (boat for boat) and ocean racing. If you want to race, she can give you victory. If you want to cruise, she can give you peace and pleasure. Always in fresh water.
• Equipment: North Sails with furling genoa jib on forward stay, and furling storm jib on inner stay. Harken winches at mast and on cabin top. Genoa winches on inboard islands in cockpit. • -Brand: New Head Pump
• I re: designed the rig as a balanced lug on wooden spars with an aluminum mast. The sail was professionally made by Andy Soper of Kingston, Ontario, and has two sets of reefing points set up with jiffy reefing. She has a nice downhaul system specially designed to facilitate tensioning the rig and making adjustments from the helmsman's position while underway. Her centerboard is galvanized steel (weighs about 100 LBS), and is easily lifted with an attractive custom winch mounted on the case. Removable wooden outboard bracket which is mounted on the port quarter.
