Gulfstar Sailcruiser 54 description- Extensive work: bench and tool/parts storage area located in companionway to aft cabin
- Huge fore: deck with large storage locker integrated into the superstructure
- I love this boat. It has beautiful lines and is very sturdy and safe. I've spent far more than $6,375 on it with new life: lines, all new bronze through hull fittings, etc. It is "not" in excellent condition, but not a total project boat. You can sail it and it starts right up. The Yanmar 2GM is a great engine and was new about 10 years ago I'm told. It doesn't look new now but does start right up every time.
- This is a 45 foot steel hull auxiliary sloop designed by John Alden & Co, as design #882. Vessel was built originally for Jack Aron of New York, NY as the yacht "Alibubu IV" by Abeking & Rasmussen in Bremen, Germany. The interior is a tri: cabin, two level deck layout with head to starboard and galley to port. Vessel is composite construction with custom built flush welded steel hull and upper cabin framing. Mahogany wood deckhouse, super structure and aft cockpit with bright vanish finish. Decks are replacement plywood and fiberglass / epoxy resin covered. Single spreader mast and boom are box construction of Sitka spruce in bright varnish finish. Auxiliary power is supplied by a 62 hp Beta diesel engine.
