- Description: Skip Johnson is the grandson of J.O. Johnson, who founded Johnson Boat Works in 1896. Skip grew up next door to the Boat Works, and worked there from the time he was a boy until he retired when the business was sold in 1997. This very practical Trimaran would have been one of the last boats Skip built and would make a fast and safe cruising vessel.
