HOMEBUILT Whilly 44.1 description- LOA: 67 feet
- Complete navigation: Garmin HD 18 Garmin 740s, GPS, radar, sonar, 6 years old.
- Built in 1981, TIME TRAVELLER 'Traveler' is a well: used, but sound boat. She has some manageable issues, including moisture in the cabin house. Otherwise dry. Mostly she needs some cosmetic care.
- A classic heavyweight long-distance cruiser designed by Peter Ibold. Endurance 35s have been built in steel, ferro and GRP : Erasmus is an 'aluminium' Endurance, built by Kingston Aluminium Yachts in Canada. Today she is in 'as new' condition, having undergone a major refit during the last four years. A new 29hp engine, the interior completely rebuilt and new electronics/instruments. Very good cathodic protection, monitoring and control unit. This yacht is in excellent condition.

- In 1942, she ws purchased by the Maritime Commission, renamed and commissioned the USS John M. Howard (IX: 75) in honor of a late Navy ensign. Assigned to the Washington navy yard for duty under the Bureau of Ordinance, she was outfitted as a floating photographic laboratory. During the war, the vessel was used for ordinance experiements. in January of 1943, she departed Washington for 100 days of experimental operations on the Atlantic coast. In 1945, she was decommissioned and placed in service until November of that year.
