  • The previous owner spent a year and a half sailing up the Caribbean chain of islands while he outfitted the sailboat for a trans: Atlantic crossing. He toured the Med and sailed back down to the Caribbean. This sailboat design is a proven model for this type of cruising. Subsequently, the boat has a great deal of safety gear for emergencies and for peace of mind.  A list is provided in the specifications section.

  • This extraordinary Voyagemaker Cutter is a one: owner vessel. All first class equipment and extensively equipped for safe offshore adventure.
  • A raised deck with 7' beam allows a surprisingly roomy cabin. Arrangements below deck are comfortable for an overnight or weekend outing for two adults. There is a large, comfortable V: berth forward with a portable head between; smaller port and starboard quarter berths aft are not large enough for adults. A sink, icebox and small Hibachi charcoal stove with stainless chimney are located on the port side of the cabin; an Origo alcohol stove is to starboard. Storage is excellent with nine bins beneath seats and berths. Wood trim and joiner work below produce an attractive interior.

The flush deck and heavy scantlings produce an extremely strong structure with a large area for sunbathing and for safe, unobstructed deck work.

  • Description: 1980 Ghost 13 sailboat in very good condition. Open fiberglass hull with built in seats and can comfortably seat 4 or 5 persons. Boat is very stable in the water and cannot easily be tipped. Boom swings above the heads of the occupants so no danger in being banged or ejected from the boat. Nylon sails, including the jib. Both sails can easily be managed by just one person. No trailer included. Approximately 220 lbs.

  • : blade ‘Kiwi’ propeller that enables her to sail better than originally, and this engine and prop’ combination gives the boat excellent performance under power. She has ‘Inmast’ reefing for her mainsail and roller reefing on the Genoa/headsail, all sail control lines are brought aft to the cockpit, so there is no need to go forward while under sail at Sea. She also has a large radial headed cruising chute complete with snuffer for light air sailing. Her electrical power supply is from two 105amp hr lead acid batteries; one for engine starting the other for general uses, both are charged by the engine, or by ‘Forgen 500NT’ wind generator when sailing or at rest, or shore supply 240v electronic charger, controlled by ‘Driftgate 2000 Xsplit’ charging regulator.
