- Equipment: She was hauled and completely professionally painted in March of 2016. Awlgrip paint and primer was used for the topsides (matthorn white) and the cove and water line stripe (medium grey). This includes a complete bottom job where the entire (total) underwater services were ground down to the original gelcoat or fiberglass. - KEEL: 6500lb (2950kg) OF LEAD. IS THRUBOLTED WITH 11 BOLTS OF 1” – 316 L SS. ACCORDING TO ONE OF LLOYDS RULES, BOLTS CAN BE RETRACTED FOR INSPECTION. THEY PASS THROUGH 316 L SS TUBES FIXED IN THE HULL TO AID DISTRIBUTION OF FORCES IN THIS AREA. THERE IS AN ADITIONAL REENFORCEMENT ALONG THE HULL IN ORDER TO SUPPORT HIGH IMPACT ON THE KEEL.
