- Designed for old: style seaworthiness and grace, the Cape Dory 27 is a sloop that’s popular with singlehanders and cruising couples.
- The crew was able to release stays and lines and jettison the mast and sails, which were lost. Among the damage: Starboard side bulkhead is displaced, Starboard side hull frame is broken in two and displaced from hull, two inside hull strakes pulled inward and debonded/torn from hull...please inspect carefully for further damage.

Willow wants to be SAILED, sailing the ocean and exploring the world. Willow is a 1979 Young Sun "Westwind" 35 designed by Bob Perry and built in Taiwan. She is a heavy double ended full keel sailboat that draws 5'6". As a result of owning the boat for about 6 years, living on her for over a year and sailing her almost 10,000 miles, we have built a very intimate relationship with Willow and her systems and know most that there is to know about her. It is an excellent light air performer and a real head-turner when in the water. The gaff rigging enables one man to lower and raise the mast by himself! It's a boat with a lot of character. The previous owner bought the hull in Florida and skillfully finished the interior and the gaff rigging himself.
