Hunter 216 description

  • This beautiful Hallberg: Rassy is the perfect blue water cruiser and live aboard. She is a cutter rigged ketch and in very good shape. The sails are all brand new and the motor runs like a dream. She is an easy to sail vessel, but can also motor over 300 miles on a single tank of fuel. It's the perfect boat to cruise the Caribbean or the world and she is ready to go!
  • General remarks: The yacht is an excellent sailor, a comfortable roomy family boat, also perfect for chartering. Solidly built and well kept. Sails 1992 and in very good condition.
  • Black Dog II is a pilothouse CT41 ketch designed by Bill Garden with inside and outside steering stations. The full: keel boat is fiberglass with teak trim. The 50 hp diesel engine was recently rebuilt with less than 20 hours on it. Both wooden mast have been rebuilt. This is a classic design with a clipper bow and countered stern. The cockpit aft deck is teak. The forward deck is fiberglass with Kiwigrip. Black Dog II has made two trips from the Pacific Northwest through the canal to the Caribbean. It is now on the Caribbean side of Panama ready for more cruising.
  • UPDATE: Back up in Maine. In response to the all inquires, the CC40 trimaran can best be viewed during the dates of August 15th through after Labor Day. Please email back soon when you have time and place. Leave a phone number and I’ll return your email with further instructions and exchange cell numbers. If interested to have hull survey done, the closest haulouts are Front Street Boatyard and Walter Green’s Yard in Maine.  The boat is just recently painted and is ready to go.  . I will be accepting bids from the asking price through the end of September unless the buyer is fully prepare to consummate the sale upon viewing.
