- Description: We purchased Scarlett from the owner/builder who was a meticulous carpenter. A very solidly built hull, no blisters, top quality workmanship throughout. She is ocean capable and live aboard friendly. Modified full keel with lead ballast (7000 lbs.), aft cockpit, cap rail with drain holes, heavy duty bowsprit and stem fitting with dual bow rollers, stainless steel framed dodger, bimini and Kato dinghy davits with outboard motor bracket on stern rail. Ten brass opening ports, five per side of the cabin. Two large, and 3 small Lewmar hatches. Eight Hella fans located through out cabin. Interior ceiling is gorgeous varnished exotic woods, walls are white giving a very light open feel. Exell. headroom for 6 ft. person. Teak and Holly sole, and teak stair-steps. Anchor locker in bow, V-berth, with storage. Head is equipped with a marine toilet with push button macerating flush. 16 Gal. holding tank. Shower and sink with plenty of storage area. Opposite the head is a tool storage area with work table. Main saloon has a U shaped settee to port that converts to a double berth with dinette table. Opposite is a full length settee, to port aft is a U shaped galley with 3 burner stove/oven, single large sink and Technautics 12V cold plate refrig/freezer, and microwave oven. Opposite the galley is the Nav station with large chart table with storage underneath.The vessel is powered by a Yanmar diesel model 3JH2-TE, new in 2005. Balmar 90-150 amp alternator. Annapolis boatyard did the rigging,double spreader aluminum main mast, all dacron Doyle sails, Harkin blocks and traveler, Schaeffer roller furling with 130% genoa, also a staysail and storm Tri-sail, new and unused. Vessel is electrically set up with a Xantrex Prosine 3.0 inverter,Link 10 battery monitor, 12 marine batteries new in 2012. Brand new Raymarine Autopilot (2013), very heavy duty system. This vessel is extremely clean and is completely equipped for cruising, everything is on board and ready to go. EVERY system and fitting on this vessel is accessable and easy to work on.
