- Description: 35’ 1980 Prout Snowgoose Catamaran. Great shallow draft cruiser, ideal for the Bahamas. Currently cruising the Dominican Republic. We (family of 5) sailed south from VA along the east coast of FL, Bahamas, and on the DR. We will need to return to our jobs at some point in the next few months so sadly we will need to sell the boat as we live far from the water in New Hampshire. We would consider delivering the boat in the Caribbean or east coast of the United States.

- I bought this for a hobby. Unfortunately, I don't have time for it and my hubby-to: be isn't interested in sailing. Everything is in great shape. Just needs to be cleaned off from sitting idle. The mesh has no holes, the sail is in great shape and the hulls are also in great shape.
- The SPINDRIFT 46 was built by Formosa Yachts using the same molds that built the FORMOSA 46. (1980: 1984). R. Hillier, of Brisbane Australia, oversaw the building of this yacht which was to be sold in the US for Bristol yachts of Newport Beach CA. For the Australian market, they were called the HILLIER/PETERSON 46. Hillier ran afoul of designer Doug Peterson who filed a law suit. Hillier died and the suit was shelved.
