Hunter 35.5

  • Beam: 11.9
  • Draft: 4.5
  • Description: The solid-fiberglass hull is laid up in two halves, then joined around a molded centerboard trunk with multiple layers of woven roving. The integral lead ballast is covered with thick laminate. The deck is balsa cored, through-bolted on 8-inch centers to the hull's interior flange, and reinforced by the bolts securing the toerail. Bulkheads are tabbed to both the hull and deck, and the cabin furniture is bonded to the hull. Interior liners form the overhead, head, and V-berth area.
  • Equipment: Combining a seakindly quarter berth with a full-sized chart table, the 35.5's navigation area is designed and built for the seagoing skipper. There is ample room for chart storage under the large lift-top table and outboard shelves easily handle books and electronic equipment.
