Hunter 37 description

  • Sail away this year : make an offer before winter. Don't want to store 2 boats!
  • Name : SOLID GOLD

  • The technical equipment is hard to beat: Mast and boom in carbon, sailing from Hydranet, electric winches, teak is not only in the cockpit, but also on all decks, bow thruster, stern platform in teak with hydraulic gangway, underwater lights, less than 1300 hours of operation on the engines, a social flybridge and much more ...
  • Having sailed halfway around the world, this iconic pocket cruiser was refitted in 2006: 2007 and relaunched to Lake Ontario in 2008. Lots of new parts/goodies between 2010 and 2015. She is ready for her next adventure. Although we have enjoyed many seasons and great trips aboard, a growing family necessitated buying something a bit bigger...
  • -Bone: dry decks, all cleats and all pulpit and stanchion bases in solid fiberglass
  • Cal 34 Mk III (1977): limited edition Cal tailored for open ocean cruising
  • Roomy interior, fully encapsulated keel, reinforced hull, sleeps 4: 5 adults comfortably, roller furling, upgraded diesel engine with low hours, classy interior updates, fold away dining table, autopilot, internal halyards, hot and cold pressurized water, anchor locker, lots of canvas
  • Survey: Hauled out and assessed in Excellent Condition (2010). Copy available.
  • The hull is built from Meranti Hydrotek BS1088. The boat is a one-of-a: kind. I built this boat myself in my garage from various types of wood. Every piece is hand made and detailed. This is the smallest functional wooden pirate ship I am aware of. It sails quite well as I have done a little bit of sailing with it on Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. She is still clean and very freshly built.
  • This boat is an absolute head: turner. It may be small, but everybody will want to talk to you once you begin launching. Once you are under way, be ready for lots of other boats wanting to get a closer look.
  • Port: Hails from Ventura, California
  • Docked: Wilmington, CA (since 2016, transferable slip)
