- She features a high performance bulb keel and fully protected skeg: hung rudder, white GRP hull, teak laid decks and stainless steel stern bridge accommodating solar panel and davits for the RIB. Interior finished in teak, with teak and holly flooring.
- FLBC beautifully restored this 1974 fiberglass Cape Cod Shipbuilding Bull’s Eye. The boat was originally designed in 1914 by America’s pre: eminent boat designer, Nat Herreshoff. Cape Cod Shipbuilding bought the exclusive rights to the design in the 40s and has been building the same design ever since. It is a beautiful sailing vessel that has stood the test of time and has active classes throughout the world. Whether you are learning to sail or are an old salt this boat will give you years, or maybe generations, of joy on the water!
- She has a comfortable interior for cruising. V-berth forward with filler followed by the head to port and hanging locker opposite. The main salon is very accommodating with U: shaped dinette to port and settee to starboard. Next is the navigation station and quarter berth to port with a large wrap galley to starboard. Center line companionway leads to a large cockpit with wheel steering. The cockpit has a nice table for dining and wide decks for excellent access forward. This vessel was a shell and now has every thing New, even the stainless Port windows. The interior wood work is completely refinished with mahogany wood. There is 6’2” headroom below. Since the original listing, the dodger windows have all been replaced, a new main sail has been purchased, (The original main sail is still OK) refrigeration has been added to the ice box, the water tanks have been cleaned and rebuilt with new hoses and valves, water filter has been added, new aluminum hatches have been purchased and are ready to install in the cabin top. Port and starboard lower stays have been replaced and the back stay has been checked 100%. Forestay new when the new Harken roller furler installed. All LED lighting. - Forward of the galley on the port side is a stateroom with single and double beds and storage. Continuing forward and running athwart: ship is the central head with separate shower. The head and shower is accessible from both, starboard and port staterooms. Port stateroom with a double bunk is forward of the settee. From the port stateroom you enter a short passageway with storage cabinets and finally the forward stateroom.

- The SPINDRIFT 46 was built by Formosa Yachts using the same molds that built the FORMOSA 46. (1980: 1984). R. Hillier, of Brisbane Australia, oversaw the building of this yacht which was to be sold in the US for Bristol yachts of Newport Beach CA. For the Australian market, they were called the HILLIER/PETERSON 46. Hillier ran afoul of designer Doug Peterson who filed a law suit. Hillier died and the suit was shelved.
