Hylas 46 description

  • Classic Bill Tripp design. Owner modified from center: Board version to fixed bulbous keel. Interior needs only minor updates and TLC such as cushion covers, etc. Exterior needs some paint and brightwork refinishing. Running rigging needs cleaning and/or replacement. Standing rigging in excellent condition and has both main and trisail tracks.

  • Description: Sleeps 6-7 in two staterooms, oversized settee, and collapsible dining table that converts to a small double. There are two heads and three showers--one in each head and one on the aft swim platform. The master stateroom is aft with centerline queen berth, vanity/cosmetic table with mirror, lots of drawers and lockers, hanging locker,full-length mirror opening to a linen closet behaind, and four opening side ports and one large overhead hatch--large enough to climb out onto the aft deck. The first head, with sink, head and shower, has a private entrance from the master stateroom and an entrance into the salon on the port side. The second stateroom (V-berth) has an oversized double berth, large overhead hatch, hanging locker and several lockers and shelves for stowing gear. There is aprivate entrance from the v-berth into the second head, with sink, head and shower. This head also opens into the salon. The salon has "U"-shaped settee to port, facing the dining table and another two-person sliding seat seat on centerline. Six people can sit at the dining table comfortable. The teak dining table collapses to align with port settee and the dining seat to form a small , double sleeping bunk for two smaller persons. Opposite the dining table to starboard there is an oversize, pull-out settee that is a,mple for a larger person(or two small children sleeping end to end). There is a large liquor cabinet and plenty of storage over and under the settees in the salon. engine room access is through 5 doors--one under the companionway, and two doors on the port and starboard sides each. The finest Taiwan woodwork throughout.
