Irwin 10/4 - Description: This is a project boat that needs a dedicated hand. My plans have changed and I am no longer able to devote the time needed to rescue this old boat. I believe the hull to be in decent shape, most of the work is cosmetic. The swing keel needs replaced, and there is a section on the forward port side where the hull to deck joint needs to be redone. The windows and hatches need to be reworked. The interior needs to be redone, cushions and woodwork. The exterior needs sanded and painted. The standing rigging, mast and boom are fine; she has a club footed jib as well. I would replace all sails. I had a custom trailer built for her that the axles can be adjusted to balance the tongue weight. This a good ship for someone who has the time and attention to bring her back to her original glory.
