Irwin 10/4 description- Steering wheel was removed and replaced by tiller : creates more space in the cockpit and handles very well. 5ft draft with 3600 lb externally bolted lead keel and high aspect sail ratio makes for a high performance for those who might race.
- The hull is heavily built with hand: laid fiberglass, and the boat is reinforced at all stress points with marine plywood laminated to the hull, deck, and cabin top. An integral fiberglass hull liner provides additional strength. A few boats were built with a fixed keel and an inboard engine.
- Her efficient and well: equipped deck layout offers easy handling by the crew and comfortable sailing.
- The V: Berth comfortably sleeps two while the settee converts to a queen size berth in the main saloon.
