Launched in August 2012, this Pogo 2 (USA 831) is what you can expect from an offshore Mini 6.50: it is fully equipped with sails, NKE electronics, NKE autopilot and Raymarine Back-up autopilot, Fuel Cell, Solar Panel, with an interior set up for racing/light cruising. Nine racing sail inventory and a complete safety package, including ISO9650 life-raft. USA 831 has an ORR rating and a PHRF rating. The owner has campaigned the boat on the West Coast and on Lake Michigan, including the Chicago-Mackinac Race. The boat has been thoroughly prepared for offshore racing by an experienced Mini Transat sailor.

- Hulls are constructed of a solid fiberglass laminate and are most often trouble: free, with the possible exception of some osmotic blistering below the waterline. Blistering is usually not severe and I have yet to see a case that I felt seriously compromised the safety of the boat.
