• Description: 1995 Macgregor 26 sailboat. This boat is amazing in many ways. First off it offers the obvious enjoyable sailing experience that is perfect even for beginner sailors. Secondly if you choose not to sail and just want to put it on the water in some beautiful cove to camp, you can just take the mast and sails off the boat and use it for an overnight camper. (see pictures) This option alone has saved us a lot of money not having to pay to camp. Launch the boat, sleep on the water, beach the boat near a state park or campsite to see friends and family or just to take showers and let kids play on playground etc. Since the boat is trailerable and can be pulled easily, you can take it almost anywhere. This boat has caught a lot of attention and looks slick floating on the water.
• Equipment: Comes with trailer, 2 spare tires, 100 Watt Solar Panel that is already wired through a charge controller to two deep cycle batteries that was bought new last year, Solar panel is mounted on a custom three position rail mount, volt meter, 400 watt power inverter with two plug ins and usb port, Switch to use battery 1, battery 2 or both, cabin lights, shore power cord, CD Player and two marine speakers (one of the case covers cracked from kids, Rail mount grill with cover, matching Bimini and cover, cockpit cushions, 2 anchors, dock lines, three fenders, mast raising system, tiller pilot raymarine t1000 I think (never used it before, so unsure of its operation abilities), eagle GPS/sonar depth finder, speed meter, V berth, Aft berth, alcohol stove, sink, head, 2008 9.8 HP Tohatsu Outboard, Electric Start with throttle in the cockpit, Roller furling with 2008 Mack Sails Genoa, main sail with lazy jacks, also ran to cockpit for single handed sailing, quick reefing lines, three fire extinguishers plus various safety equipment, storage bin full of maintenance items such as extra pins, silicone, tape, etc. The interior for the most part is standard like most of the other 95's except the electrical system, radio install, and charge controller setup for the solar panel. All interior cushions are intact and good working order. Carpet has been installed in the cabin(can be removed to clean or removed if you do not like it). This allows for a barefoot/sock comfy feel when lounging in the cabin. This boat offers much more then most of the other Macgregors for sale online right now for this model. Haul is in good working shape, some surface fiber glassed spots that are sound and hardly noticeable even when on the trailer. The price is the suggested list price on NADA blue book for this boat without most of the add-ons. We just finished our end of summer sailing trip sailing under the mackinaw bridge and to mackinaw island. Selling because I graduate spring of 2016 and will be relocating with engineering degree, I have to haul a moving trailer and wont have ability to also haul boat. Offers are welcome.
