MacGregor 26M description- In the world of high quality production sailboats, the X: 412 has surpassed all of her peers with more than 250 built over a 14 year run. This is truly remarkable yacht for all reasons. Two private cabins, two heads, beautiful teak decks, (glued not screwed), exquisite varnished teak interior with precise and artful laminations. - Designed by Bob Perry based on a concept by Bob Berg, Toucan is a canoe stern, traditional design cruising yacht. With its 34 foot waterline length, Toucan's theoretical maximum hull speed is an impressive 7.8 knots making her quite fast for a moderate to heavy displacement ocean going vessel. She easily cruises faster than 7 knots on a reach and sails 150 to 175 miles per day with just one or two crew. The Baba, Panda, Tashiba, Tayana, Mason and Nordhaven lines of quality Ta Shing manufactured yachts are well known for their sturdy construction, beautiful detail, comfortable ride and superb handling. - I purchased this PY26 Sloop in 2008 from the family that bought it new and kept it looking and feeling new as well. The name combined the wife/mother-son: daughter’s names Marabe. To be honest I didn’t have the heart to change the name and as the boat was hauled from their home all of the family stood and watched – it had been their loved summer place all during their “growing up” years and accommodated grandchildren too. I am retiring and sadly offering this wonderful sloop for sale.

The vessel shows performance, racer/cruiser lines and sloop/cutter rig. Hull color is white. The vessel was designed by Ron Holland and constructed in Taiwan, ROC by the Ta Chiao Brothers Yacht Building Co in 1982, and since that time has had 5 owners. The present owners had Renegade for the last 11 years.
