- Description: Have a great little boat for a starter sailboat or for someone who wants to enjoy a boat that is trailer able and lightweight. We got this boat as a starter boat and now it is time to move on. The boat is nearly impossible to capsize and is safety conscious with enough floatation to where it will never sink has a 400 lb keel as well! I have remade the keel swing beam with teak wood so it is way more sturdy and will outlast the age of this boat. The boat is a beautiful blue and has a mercury 9.9 hp outboard with external tank all the wood on the boat has been refinished and the interior has been repainted with a epoxy style paint. She also comes with two jibs the Genoa and the standard jib. The trailer is in fair condition but has been recently rewired and legal for transport. I had dreams of repainting it but never got around to it but it is just cosmetically unappealing but works as advertised. This a great boat! as far as Ventures go it is by far one of the cleaner ones. I am very particular about cleaning and taking care of my equipment. Also comes with more extras and is sail ready as I sail it at least 3 times a week. she is very fun to sail!
